DEDZA DYNAMOS HAS SIGNED A SPONSORSHIP DEAL WITH PREMIER BET MALAWI

Dedza Dynamos have officially unveil a one year sponsorship deal with a betting company, Premier Bet Malawi. According to a sponsorship agreement the contract is for a year with an option of extension. Dedza Dynamos will now be called Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos. Speaking during the unveiling ceremony at Premier Bet offices in Limbe, Blantyre the Company's CEO Trevor Whitaker said as Premier Bet they are expecting good results and better performance from players." We have passion to develop football by any means, so it's our wish seeing the team doing good and bring results, that will also bring joy to us as a company, the deal is for a year but if the team will do better according to terms and conditions then we will eventually extend the contract" He said. In his remarks Chairperson for Dedza Dynamos board members Hastings Mpambira said the sponsorship will motivate them to do better as they will be assisted in some areas where they were being challenged financially....

THREE INTERNATIONAL BOXERS ARE IN THE COUNTRY FOR A FIGHT ORGANIZED BY YOUTH BOXING PROMOTION

International boxers, Francy Mtetu and Lucien Botembu from DRC as well as Ruan Visser from South Africa have landed yesterday through Kamuzu International Airport for a fight organized by Youth Boxing Promotion. TNM SUPER LEAGUE SPONSORSHIP HAS BEEN INCREASED TO MK 500 MILLION

TNM have just annouced the increase of it's sponsorship for Malawi's elite league which has now hit to half a billion per season from MK150 million. The Champions will from this year be rewarded MK100 Million from MK40 Million while runners up will go away with a sum of  MK40 Million and  The third-placed team will be getting MK 30 Million. Speaking during the unveiling ceremony in Blantyre TNM's chief executive, Michel Hebert, said   that the package is for three seasons. "We have done this by looking at how much our teams spend, These teams spend a lot so they have to be rewarded enough in return". Many people including Sports Analysts were complaining to say the money that teams received as a prize money is not enough compared to how much they invest. NYAMBOSE HAS TERMINATED HIS CONTRACT WITH BANGWE ALL STARS

Bangwe All Stars Coach, Christopher Nyambose has issued a termination letter of his seven-months contract he signed with the team. Nyambose signed a seven-months deal with Bangwe All Stars in January 2024 with an option to extend it if the team finishes in the Top 8 by the end of the first round of the 2024 TNM Super League. The resignation has come after the team have only managed to collect a single point in all the three games they have so far played. Bangwe All Stars lost to Fomo by a goal to nil in their first match and the also to Silver strickers and drew to Karonga United in the second and third week of TNM Super League respectively. Nyambose have addressed an official letter to the Club President of his contract termination. KB FC HAVE PENNED A KIT SPONSORSHIP DEAL WITH SUPER SAKUWA

The Lilongwe based Malawi Defence Force football team Kamuzu Barracks have today penied a one year kit sponsorship deal with Super Sakuwa Limited. The unveiling ceremony was held today at Malawi Defence Force headquarters (MDF) 94 Brigade in the capital city. According to a contract Super Sakuwa have bought jerseys for the team and they will be rewarding a sum of K100, 000 for a win and K50, 000 for a draw and a loss to a player of a match in each and every encounter be it a league or a cup game. The company will also buy kits for Kamuzu Barracks reserve and yonth teams. Lilongwe based soldiers drew against Mighty Mukuru Wanderers in their first match were the match ended in 1-all-draw. They also drew against Mafco FC in the second week of the the season. As it stands Kamuzu Barracks is on number 10 with 2 points. Last years the soldiers finished on fifth position in a Malawi's elite league. Kamuzu Barracks FC were clowned the champios of TNM Super League in 2016.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach Kalisto Pasuwa highlighted that his boys has failed to collect maximum points against Wakawaka Tigers due to poor performance and connection of their stickers up front. Mzuzu City Hammers which was previously known as Ekwendeni Hammers has signed a 30 million sponsorship deal with Betika company. The money has been used to buy this season's jerseys. In a contract Betika said will be paying a sum of 200 thousand Kwacha to a player of the month throughout the season. Speaking during the sighing of the contract, The company's CEO Gift Govati, said as a company they have decided to help the team with the aim of helping in advancing the development of football in Malawi. FAM & SULOM HAVE CONDUCTED TRAINING FOR STEWARDS

Football Association of Malawi (FAM) in collaboration with Super league of Malawi (Sulom) have agreed to train Stewards on how they can insure security in stadia. The training has started today and it will end tomorrow at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe. The aim of the training is to equip the security guards on how best they can handle disturbance in stadia. Some football fans vandalise, especially when they disagree with refrees decisions in most cases. For instance Mighty Mukuru Wanderers supporters last season destroy chairs at BNS showing anger upon disagreeing with a decision which was made by Nkhakananga. NOMA HAVE LODGED A COMPLAINT OVER TNM SUPER LEAGUE FIXTURE

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers have complained to Super League of Malawi SULOM over the distribution of their elite league fixture. The compliant comes in just after few day when SULOM released the TNM Super league fixture of this year's football season. According to Wanderers they are not happy with the way SULOM have allocated their first five games. Wanderers will play their first five game within Blantyre, which according to them this will make them to play under pressure in the next round as they will be required to play most of their games outside Blantyre. The Club's secretary  Chancy Gondwe said the complaint is issued for different reasons. For example by looking at the way SULOM have allocated fixture of other team for instance FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Silver sticker, these team will play most of their games outside in the first round.
