MZUZU CITY HAMMERS HAS SIGNED A 30 MILLION SPONSORSHIP DEAL WITH BETIKA

Mzuzu City Hammers which was previously known as Ekwendeni Hammers has signed a 30 million sponsorship deal with Betika company.

The money has been used to buy this season's jerseys. In a contract Betika said will be paying a sum of 200 thousand Kwacha to a player of the month throughout the season.

Speaking during the sighing of the contract, The company's CEO Gift Govati, said as a company they have decided to help the team with the aim of helping in advancing the development of football in Malawi.
In his remarks Chairperson for Mzuzu City Hammers committee, said they are so excited with the sponsorship for it will help to rise the competition among players which will enable their club to do better in the elite league and other competitions.

Following the signing of the contract Mzuzu City Hammers will be wearing jerseys with a logo of Betika and also a name of the company on front of their shirts.

During the signing ceremony the team has sold replica jerseys and Gilbert Mitawa Sulumo president has bought the replica at 500.
