The Lilongwe based Malawi Defence Force football team Kamuzu Barracks have today penied a one year kit sponsorship deal with Super Sakuwa Limited. The unveiling ceremony was held today at Malawi Defence Force headquarters (MDF) 94 Brigade in the capital city. According to a contract Super Sakuwa have bought jerseys for the team and they will be rewarding a sum of K100, 000 for a win and K50, 000 for a draw and a loss to a player of a match in each and every encounter be it a league or a cup game. The company will also buy kits for Kamuzu Barracks reserve and yonth teams. Lilongwe based soldiers drew against Mighty Mukuru Wanderers in their first match were the match ended in 1-all-draw. They also drew against Mafco FC in the second week of the the season. As it stands Kamuzu Barracks is on number 10 with 2 points. Football Association of Malawi (FAM) in collaboration with Super league of Malawi (Sulom) have agreed to train Stewards on how they can insure security in stadia. The training has started today and it will end tomorrow at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe. The aim of the training is to equip the security guards on how best they can handle disturbance in stadia. Some football fans vandalise, especially when they disagree with refrees decisions in most cases.
