WANDERERS ARE GEARED FOR 2024 SEASON

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers FC have beaten Civil servants football club, Civo United in a pre-season friendly match by 2 goals to 1 at Champion stadium in Dowa district.

Christopher Jaccama Kumwembe and Clement Nyondo were on target for Lali Luban boys. Wanderers stickers finished beautiful sets from Gaddie Chirwa.

In his remarks Mighty Mukuru Wanderers Head Coach Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan says his Club is ready to face the 2024 season. Speaking to the Media after today's win over another super league giant Civil Service United at Champion Stadium in Dowa, Ramadhan said much as there are some areas he is still working on, his team is set for the new season. "Today we had a grand game. We played with Dedza Dynamos but today I have noted alot of improvements. I have been working hard for my boys to gain fitness ahead of the season and I am happy with the progress," said Ramadhan.

Civil Service United opened the scoring chart in the 39th minute before substitute Christopher Kumwembe levelled the score line just a minute into the second half. Another substitute, Clement Nyondo increased the Nomads' tally to two after a superb finish in the 74th having been set by Gaddie Chirwa.

Nomads played against Dzaleka football club on Wednesday last week, they won by a margin of 7 goals to nill. Misheck Botomani, Isaac Kaliati, Christopher Kumwembe, Gaddie Chirwa, Peter Cholopi, Clement Nyondo and Emmanuel Nyirenda were on target during the Wednesday encounter.
