FOUR-NATIONS TOURNAMENT TO KICK-OFF ON SATURDAY 23 MARCH
Malawi will host four-nation tournament starting from Saturday next week at Bingu International Stadium in the the Capita city.
Flames will play Kenya in their first match on Saturday. As we a getting closer to the tournament, Mighty Mukuru Wanderers has not yet released their players who were called for national duty. These players are Stanley Sanudi, Chimwemwe Nkhoma,Lawrence Chaziya, Wisdom Mpinganjira, Fransisco Madinga, Christopher Kumwembe and Clement Nyondo.
This is happening when other countries like Zambia and Zimbabwe who are ready to participate in the tournament have announced their final squads to travel with. The tournament will kick-off on 23 and 26 March 2024 at Bingu.
The first match of the tournament will be between Zambia and Zimbabwe on Saturday 2 PM followed by the host's match the Flames who will take on Kenya at 5 PM the same day. Third place play-off match will be played on Tuesday 26 March where the first match losser will play against the second match losser battling for a third position. The final will be played later that day at 5 PM where the first match winner will play against second match winner battling for a championship.
