CHIUKEPO HAS RETIRED FROM ACTIVE FOOTBALL
Former Mighty Mukuru Wanderers striker Chiukepo Msowoya has retired from active football. The star has made an announcement today after he has been released from Wanderers in past two weeks.
Chiukepo played for Bullets for many years before joining the Lali Luban. He was the most reliable striker at Bullets and thus where he became popular as a national star.he has also played for several clubs including Wanderers, defunct Escom United at local level but also played for Orlando Pirates, Golden Arrows (both in South Africa), APR FC in Rwanda and Desportivon Maculmana in Mozambique at international level.
The sticker also saved for a national duty for so many years. He was reliable and he became popular of scoring the most important goals for a national team. Chiukepo was also part of the Flames squad at the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Angola.
Speaking in an interview Chiukepo said he is very grateful for everyone who have been there diring his football career.'I've had the privilege to be a professional football player for almost 20 years now and I feel incredibly thankful for the opportunity. 'It has been an amazing journey filled with unforgettable moments and emotions.
Chiukepo also give thanks to all the Clubs that he have played for, The coaches who supported him, plus team-mates who have become friends. He also thanks his family members and his closest friends. They have been a part of my journey from day one and have given me so much love and support, through the good times and the bad he said.
God has been faithful throughout my journey.'Thank you to all my fans who have shown me so much love no matter the circumstances and no matter which club I was representing.'Now I'm looking forward to everything that is in front of me with my wife and my beautiful daughters, but you can be sure that you will hear from me from time to time on my social media channel he concluded.
