SILWIMBA JOINS THE BLUE FAMILY
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers has announced the signing of Civo United captain Timothy Silwimba. The star has put on paper a three year deal, this means the contract will last up to 2027. The signing of Silwimba is a third signing of the Nomads this season.
Nyerere made the announcements on Monday but Owinna had reported about the move on Friday last week. Speaking after putting a pen on paper, Silwimba was happy to join the blue camp. I am very excited to join the blue family. It is a dream come true to many, I have accepted the challenge with both hands Silwimba said. I am very grateful and I have accepted the challenge with joy. Silwimba added that it is the desire of every player in Malawi to play for Lali Luban. Jokingly he concluded that football is blue.
The 23 year old defender was phenomenal for Civil Service United last season, winning Man of the Match on four occasions and voted the Club's player of the season. The left back has registered five call-ups with Civo united to the national.
The other signings that Mukuru wanderers have made are the signing of Clement Nyondo from Dedza and Blessings Singini from Ekwendeni.
Great job keep it up
