MPINGANJIRA FINALY ACCEPTS NOMADS OFFER

                             

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers supporters’ are very happy upon hearing that Thom Mpinganjira has accepted to become the Sole shareholder of Mighty Wanderers Company Limited, who happens to be the owners of the Football Club.

This news has bring joy in a lot of Nomads fans, for years they have been doing all they could to offer Mpinganjira the position. Mpinganjira have been helping the club financially though the performance for past years had not been all that impressive. This year the club have finished the season empty handed as their arrivals took all the trophies.

Despite the worse performance wanderers had, Mpinganjira insist to help the club financially. Nomads continued to offer him the seat as the sole shareholder. Mpinganjira couldn't do otherwise this time around but accepting the offer.

In an interview during press briefing with sports journalists Mpinganjira confirmed that he has accepted the offer as the company’s sole shareholder, Mpinganjira said the development will help to bring in more at the present he is sole shareholder, “but we are trying to bring in more shareholders” he said.

This development have bring joy to the supporters as this has been their dreams for years now. It has been the wish of Mighty Wanderers fans to see Mpinganjira becoming the company’s boss as the development has completely made him the owner of the company.  

Speaking in an interview before the dissolution of the board, former board secretary and legal adviser Chancy Gondwe confirmed that the club’s president was indeed offered 100 percent shares.

He said: “The offer was made last year with the view that upon his acceptance, he would get all the shares or release other shares. Mpinganjira on Times TV

International boxers, Francy Mtetu and Lucien Botembu from DRC as well as Ruan Visser from South Africa have landed yesterday through Kamuzu International Airport for a fight organized by Youth Boxing Promotion. FIFA COMMENTED ON THE RUMORS OF THE INTRODUCTION OF THE BLUE CARD

FIFA has today issued an official statement regarding yesterday’s information about the introduction of a blue card in football. According to FIFA, it is premature to talk about this. FIFA wishes to clarify that reports of so called blue card, “at elite levels of football are incorrect and premature. Any such trials, if implemented should be limited to testing in a responsible manner at lower levels, a position that FIFA intends to reiterate when this agenda item is discussed at IFAB AGM on 2 March” To recap, it was reported yesterday about the possibility of introducing a blue card in football, which would be given for tactical fouls and disputes with the referee.
